GAZIPUR: A source of police was killed after cutting off his two hands brutally by unidentified miscreants in Ouchpara area of Tongi in the district on Wednesday night.

The deceased was identified as Nazib Mia, 30, son of Golap Mia.

Locals said that some miscreants attacked the victim in the area around 9:30am and cut his two hands, leaving him critically injured.

Later, he died on the way to Tongi Hospital.

Tongi Thana Officer-in-Charge Ismail Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
