SATKHIRA: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel held 25 India-bound people from Toluigasa frontier under Sadar Upazila of the district on Thursday morning.
The detainees hailed from Bagerhat, Khulna, Barguna and Jessore districts, said BGB sources.
Satkhira BGB-38 Battalion BOP Company Commander Subedar Kabir Ahmed told banglanews, “A patrol team of BGB-38 detained them while trying to cross border illegally around 7:30am.”
Meanwhile, the middle man fled the scene.
