A total of 1,48,227 cases have been resolved through the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) system under the National Legal Aid Services Organization (NLASO) from 2009 to April 2025, official sources confirmed.
Of the 1,64,482 cases submitted, most were settled by 64 District Legal Aid Officers, with additional support from labourer assistance cells in Dhaka and Chattogram.
Over 12 lakh people have received free legal aid services nationwide during this period via district offices, the Supreme Court Legal Aid Office, and a toll-free helpline (16430).
The NLASO continues to provide legal aid to underprivileged communities under the Law and Justice Division.
