DHAKA: Banglalink, the second largest mobile telecom operator of the country, brings daily basis ‘Whatsapp pack’ at 4 taka only to make messaging more convenient for whatsapp users.
The disclosure came from a press release on Thursday.
It said: “Any banglalink prepaid & C&C subscribers (Except banglalink play subscribers) will be able to purchase this pack.
Currently banglalink play subscribers will not be able to purchase this pack, as it is already free in play package due to promotional offer.
If a subscriber migrates from any prepaid package to play while already having WhatsApp pack, his/her WhatsApp Package will be unsubscribed.
Usage will be considered from WhatsApp pack while WhatsApp application is used. Outside WhatsApp charge will be applicable as per the data pack that the subscriber holds. If WhatsApp volume is exhausted, further usage before validity expiry will be charged as per 1paisa/10KB rate.
For further WhatsApp, or outside WhatsApp usage, subscribers are suggested to purchase 1 more pack, from either of following- P14 (10MB@10TK /day) by simply dialing *222*1*13#, or P9 (5MB@8TK/day) by simply dialing*222*1*7#, or P10 (2MB@4TK/day) pack by dialing *222*1*2#.
All above charges are subject to VAT.”
