DHAKA: Chairman of Jatiya Party HM Ershad wished to see his party in worthy position before his death.

He came up with the aspiration in front of the party leaders on the occasion of his 85th birthday at Emmanuel’s Conventional Center in city’s Gulshan on Thursday.

HM Ershad also said the presence of leaders showed that they were not hopeless. He also hoped that the party leaders would put an effective effort to lead the party to proper place.

He also added that if the party activists support him, the party would be elected again.

Ershad also showed his gratitude to his party leaders and well wishers saying, “I want to see the party in an eligible place by your assistance before my death.”

Secretary General of the party ABM Ruhul Amin Howlader, Joint Secretary General Nurul Islam Nuru, presidium member of JP Saidur Rahman Tepa, Mir Abdur Rashid Sabur and other party leaders were present there.
