NARAYANGANJ: Two bodies were found in Sadar upazila and Sonargaon upazila of the district on Friday evening.

One of the deceased was identified as Roqibul Hasan Roni, 26, son of Anwar Hossain, resident of Sadar upazila.

Police sources said that a gang of drug dealers chopped Roqibul to death in Noor Masjid area of Fatulla of Sadar upazila around 7:00pm as he obstructed them from drug dealing.

On information police recovered the body and sent to Narayanganj Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Officer-in-Charge of Fatulla Model Thana Akter Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.

In another incident, police recovered another body from an abandoned shop in Kanchpur area of Sonargaon upazila in the evening.

The body was sent to Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Confirming the matter to banglanews Officer-in-Charge of Sonargaon Thana Rejaul Haque said that the reason behind the death could not be known.
