JESSORE: The prize giving ceremony of “Bashundhara Cup Golf Tournament-2014” was held in Jessore Golf and Country Club playground on Saturday night.

Area Commander of Jessore and 55 Infantry Division, General Officer Commanding Major General SM Matiur Rahman distributed the prizes among the winners.

The tournament was held in four phases where Colonel Mirja Taiebur Rahman became the champion.

The Head of HR and Public Relations, also Advisor of country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group, Lieutenant Colonel (retd.) Khandaker Abdul Wahed, along with others high officials of the Group and Bangladesh Army were present in the programme.
 
A total of 78 golfers, including 15 females and 18 juniors, took part in the tournament.
