CHITTAGONG: A total of 902 gold bars--over 105-kg--worth around Tk 45 crore, were seized at Shah Amanat International Airport in the port city on Tuesday.

Assistant Commissioner Mashiur Rahman Mandol told banglanews that a flight of Bangladesh Biman (BG-026) landed in the airport from Dubai around 11:05am.

Later, the customs officials seized the gold bars raiding the plane and searching the seats of the aircraft.

Meanwhile, the law enforcers detained ten suspected passengers.
