DHAKA: Businessmen, shoppers and visitors stood in front of country’s one of the largest shopping centers Bashundhara City Shopping Mall at Panthapath and sang National Anthem.
Showing their affinity with the event of singing national anthem with the voices of hundreds of thousands at the National Parade Ground, people in front of Bashundhara City sang ‘Amar Sonar Bangla’ on Wednesday morning and celebrated 44th Independence and National Day.
Freedom Fighter TIM Latiful Hossain, who is Bashundhara City In-charge, also one of the advisors to Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan, attended the programme.
At the event he said, we have the capability to strengthen national unity.
‘The event has proved that we can stand on one ground to uphold the spirit of national interest,’ he added.
Bashundhara City Managing Director (administration and secutiry) Captain (rtd) SM Masud Parvez Dipu, Senior Executive Director (Accounts) Sheikh Abdul Alim and Bashundhara City Shops Owners Association president, among others, were present at the programme.
Bashundhara City Shopping Mall authorities arrange a live broadcast of the historic event from the National Parade Ground with its PA system.
