TANGAIL: Three school boys were killed as a bus rammed a motorcycle on Dhaka-Tangail highway in Mirzapur upazila of the district on Wednesday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Rokan, son of Nazrul Islam, Sohel, son of Shafi Uddin of Mirzapur upazila and Selim of Dhanbari upazila. They were students of class-10 of local Kuni High School.

Witnesses and police sources said that a rashly-driven Dhaka-bound bus rammed their motorcycle when they were heading toward Tangail in the afternoon, leaving them critically injured.

They were rushed to Kumudini Hospital where doctor declared them dead, sources added.

Officer-in-Charge of Gorai Highway Thana Jubaidul Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The killer bus could not be seized, he added.
