Parliamentary committees in next week

DHAKA: The parliamentary committees of tenth parliament are set to be formed in next week where those who did not get chance in cabinet, would be given importance.

Former minister Dr Mohiuddin Khan is likely to be made chairman of the committee for home ministry affairs while Dr Dipu Moni to be given chairmanship of the committee for foreign ministry affairs.

Former Environments and Forests Ministers Dr Hasan Mahmud, former water resources minister Ramen Chandra Sen, former civil aviation minister Farook Khan, former primary and mass education minister Dr Afsarul Amin, Former state minister for liberation war affairs Captain (retd) AB Tazul Islam, Former state minister for labor ministry Munnujan Sufian and former state minister for industries Omar Faruk Chowdhury are likely to be made chairman of concerned committee.

Besides, new faces might be seen in the committee including former Member of Parliament of Dhaka-9 constituency Saber Hossain Chowdhury, Sylhet-4 constituency MP Imran Ahmed, Khulna-1 constituency MP Panchanon Biswas, Pabna-3 MP Mokbul Hossain, Chapainawabganj-3 constituency MP Abdul Wadud Dara, Comilla-9 constituency MP Tazul Islam, Netrokona-4 constituency MP Rebeka Momin, Bagerhat-2 constituency MP Mir Shawkat Ali Badsha, Sylhet-3 constituency MP Mahmud Us Samad Chowdhury,  Tangail-7 MP Ekabbar Hossain and Gazipur-4 constituency Simin Hossain Rimi.

Chief Whip ASM Firoz told banglanews, “As there is no problem now so all committees will be formed in next week and drafts of committee have already prepared.”
