JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY: A truck driver was killed and 20 others were injured as a bus collided head-on with a truck in front of the university at Savar upazila on Thursday night.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Sources said a Kushtia-bound passenger bus collided head-on with a truck and fell into roadside ditch around 11:00pm, leaving the truck driver dead on the spot and 20 others injured.

On information, police and students of the university rushed in and tried to rescue the victims.
