LALMONIRHAT: Rail communications in the northern-most part of the country snapped as three compartments of a passenger train on Lalmonirhat-Burimari route derailed in Kuchlibari area on Friday morning.

Office Assistant of Lalmonirhat Train Control Office Abul Kalam said the train was on way to Lalmonirhat station from Burimari land-port station.

Divisional Engineer Asadul Islam of Lalmonirhat Station told banglanews24.com.bd,  “Salvage operation strated at 2:30pm.”
