HABIGANG: Three adolescents, including two girls, were killed as lightning struck them at Bulla and Surma village under Madhabpur upazila of the district on Wednesday.             

The deceased were identified as Rekha Begum, 12, daughter of Shafique Mia, Kalon Begum, 12, daughter of Ahmed Ali of Bulla and Tanzil, 14, son of Nanu Mia of North Surma village.     

Madhabpur Thana officer-in-charge Abdul Basit told banglanews that lightning struck the victims as they went out from house during storm and torrential rain.
