PABNA: Ruling Awami League activist was killed in a clash between two factions of the party at Sadar upazila of the district on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Amzad Hossain, 55, of Char Balarampur village of Bharara union under Sadar upazila.

Officer-in-Charge of Pabna Sadar Thana told banglanews that the activists of the party locked into a gunfight at a village arbitration over a land dispute that left them dead on the spot.
