DHAKA: A bank official was found dead at his house in Shyamoli area under Sher-e-Banlgla Nagar Thana in the city on Wednesday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Nuruzzaman, 50, Senior Vice-President of Prime Bank of Gabtali Branch, hailed from Gosairhat upazila of Shariatpur district.

On information, police recovered the body from his residence at 27/3 Shyamoli, Road No-3.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Thana sub-inspector Ohidul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
