CHITTAGONG: Four people were killed and two hurt as a cylinder blasted at a ship breaking yard in Sitakunda of Chittagong on Thursday afternoon.

The identity of the deceased could not be identified immediately.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Officer-in-Charge of Sitakunda Thana Iftekhar Hasan said, “Few buyers were talking at a ship breaking yard for buying scrap. At that time, a cylinder blasted, leaving six people senseless.”

They were rushed to hospital where doctor declared four dead and two others were under treatment, he added.
