DHAKA: A youth was electrocuted in Fakirerpool area of the capital on Saturday evening.

The deceased was identified as Rusel, 25.

Sources said the Rusel went to repair an air conditioner in a house of the area around 7:00pm and came in contact with an electric wire, leaving injured critically.

Later, he was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where on duty doctor declared him dead.

Motijheel Thana Sub-Inspector Saiful Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
