NARAYANGANJ: A rashly driven truck ran over a female constable in Langalbandha area under Bandar upazila of the district on Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified as Rokeya, 22, of Narayanganj police line.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Officer-in-Charge of Bandar Thana Akhter Morshed said the truck ran over Rokeya when she was crossing road at 8:30am, leaving her dead on the spot.

Police nabbed killer driver and helper of the truck, OC added.
