HABIGANJ: Three Bangladesh nationals were beaten to death by Indians in Tripura state of India early Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Siddique Ali, 55, son Sundar Ali, Anwar Mia, 25, son of Khurshed Ali and Omar Ali, 30, son of Mofiz Ullah, all of them hailed from Gazipur village under Chunarughat upazila of the district.

Gazipur UP chairman TAzul Islam Molla confirmed the death news to banglanews.

Villagers claimed that they beat the three Bangladeshis on suspicion of the cattle thief, leaving them dead on the spot.

Balla BOP company commander of BGB Mozaffar Hossain told banglanews, “On information, we are trying to contact with Border Security Force of India regarding the matter.”
