DHAKA: In a latest reshuffle in the administration, the government has ordered transfers and postings of six high officials and Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Deputy Secretary.

The Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard on Sunday.

According to the order, Dhaka City Corporation (North) Chief Property Officer M Fasiullah has been transferred to the Statistics and Information Management Department, Bangladesh Agriculture Development Corporation Manager Sanat Kumar Saha to the Ministry of Agriculture, Deputy Director of Freedom Fighters Council M Ismail to the Ministry of Information.

Besides, another notice sent Expatriates` Welfare and Overseas Employment Deputy Secretary Dr Piyar Mohammad to the department of Public Administration Officer, Ranjit Chandra Sarker from the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief to Environment and Forest Ministry and AKM Abdul Wadud was transferred to the Agriculture Ministry from Trade Affairs.

Dr M Abdul Karim, made OSD earlier, was given posting to the Ministry of Industries Affairs.

Monjurul Islam has been appointed as Assistant Private Secretary of Jatiya Party Chairman and Prime Minister’s Special Envoy HM Ershad.
