BRAHMANBARIA: A schoolboy was killed in road accident in Nabinagar of the district on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Tushar Chandra Das, 7, student of class V in Ibrahimpur Primary School. He was the son of Biplob Chandra Das residing at Ibrahimpur of the upazila.

Locals source that Tushar was injured over a knock of a Nasiman, local human haler at the noon while crossing the Nabinagar-Companyganj road.

He was rushed to the Nabinagar Upazila Health Complex immediately, locals added. Later he died while shifting to Comilla for better treatment.

Nabinagar Thana Officer-in-Charge Abu Jafar confirmed the matter to banglanews.
