DHAKA: A fire broke out at a six-storied building of Dhaka District and Metropolitan Session Judge Court at 11:45am Thursday.

Witnesses said that the fire originated from an electric short circuit from under the stairs of the Khash Room of Environment Appeal Court of the building around 11:45am, creating panic among the people there.

The fire smoke spread out in the adjacent areas.

Sadarghat Fire Service and Civil Defense fireman M Moniruzzama confirmed the matter to banglanews. No casualty was reported.
