DHAKA: Two more female candidates were elected uncontested for reserved seats in the 10th National Parliament.
They are- Awami League nominated Sabiha Nahar Begum and Jatiya Party (JP) nominated Khorshed Ara Haque.
Election Commission (EC) declared that these two female candidates were elected uncontested.
Earlier on April 2, Election Commission declared the candidature was valid after checking the nomination papers of the two candidates and no one submitted nomination paper for the seats.
According to the act of reserved women seats in Parliament Election-2014 sub-section 2 of section 12, Returning Officer Jesmin Tuli declared them elected.
