DHAKA: Veteran journalist ABM Musa was buried at 9:50pm on Thursday at Kutubpur village in Fulgazi upazila in Feni.

He was buried by his mother’s grave.

Earlier at 8:00pm Musa’s dead body reached at his home village, where his fourth namaz-e-janaza was held.

His third namaz-e-janaza was held at Mizan Mayda in Feni town. And second namaz was held at National Press Club in Dhaka.

Musa’s first namaz-e-janaza was held at city’s Mohammadpur area earlier on Wednesday after Magrib prayer.

People of all walks of life participated in all of his funeral prayers.

Journalist Musa, 83, breathed his last at Labaid Hospital in city around 1:45pm on Wednesday.

He had been kept on life-support from Monday night and had been suffering from severe blood-cell related disease Myelo-dysplastic syndrome.

Musa left behind his wife Setara Musa, a son – Dr Nasim Musa, three daughters – Sharmin Musa, Marian Sultana, and Pervin Sultana Jhuma and a host of relatives, friends and well wishers to mourn his death.
