DHAKA: As in the previous years, country’s one of the largest mobile phone operators Grameenphone will assist Chhayanaut to celebrate Bangla New Year that falls on April 14.
At press conference, held on Thursday at Chhayanaut Sangskriti Bhaban, organizers said that for past eight years Grameenphone had been cooperating in celebration of Chhayanaut’s traditional Bangla Nababarsha.
Chhayanaut vice-president Sarwar Ali, general secretary Khairul Anam Shakil, cashier Pradip Nath and Grameenphone head of corporate communication Syed Tahmid Azizul Haque were present at the conference.
Bangladesh Television (BTV) will telecast the program live from Ramna Batamul in city.
The BTV will provide clean feeds to the private satellite television channels in telecasting the program.
Grameenphone 3G users will be able to watch the program live.
Chhayanaut has been celebrating Bangla Nababarsha since 1967.
