MANIKGANJ: Police seized a pick-up van with some arms and bullets on Dhaka-Aricha highway in Bathuli Bus Stand area of Dhamrai upazila of Dhaka district early Thursday.

Seized arms include- 2 foreign pistols, 3 magazines, 2 rounds of bullets, a pipe gun, 6 rounds of shotgun bullets, 4 live cocktails, and 2 knives.

Sources of Golora highway police camp said that a patrol team chased a Dhaka-bound pick-up van on suspicion in Barbaria bus stand area at 3:00am. On arrival in front of a brick kiln owned by one Nazrul in Bathuli area, the van riders escaped, leaving the vehicle.

Golora highway Thana Officer-In-Charge Humayum Kabir confirmed the matter to banglanews.
