CHITTAGONG: Coast Guard personnel detained eight crew members from a Thai fishing trawler from Karnafuli River on charge of intrusion.

The trawler, named FV Nannavi, was seized with eight crew members, 5 Thai and 3 Myanmar nationals, on Thursday night.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Coast Guard operation officer Mohiuddin said, a case was filed with Karnafuli Thana in this connection.
