SIRAJGANJ: Railway (Western) suspended its three staffs following a incident of head-on-collision of two trains that killed 2 persons early Sunday.
The suspended officials are-- Ullapara railway station Master (Assistant) Kutubuddin, Driver of the Ekota Express (Loco) Bankim Chandra Roy and his assistant driver Abdus Safi.
Besides, railway formed three probe bodies to investigate into the incident.
Earlier in the day, at least 2 killed and 50 others as a Dinajpur-bound train Lalmoni Express collided head-on with another parked train Ekota at Ullahpara railway station.
A 4-member committee, led by chief operating superintendent of western railway Mia Jahan, is asked to submit its report within three days.
Besides, rescue mission is underway on while halted rail link of North Bengal (NB) resumed with Dhaka and other parts of the country from 9:00am.
