JHENAIDAH: At least ten people were injured in a clash between two groups of Awami League in Debtola village under Shailkupa upazila of the district on Tuesday morning.

The injured were sent to Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital and Shailkupa Health Complex.

Sources said that Awami League leader Panna Khan Group and Nasir Khan Group locked into altercation on Monday afternoon.

Later, following the incident the both groups locked into clash on Tuesday at 7:00am, leaving ten people injured.

Shailkupa Thana Officer-in-Charge Moniruzzaman Mollah confirmed the matter to banglanews.
