DHAKA: The hearing on case filed for assault on three doctors of BIRDEM General Hospital was held in a Dhaka Court on Sunday morning.

The court of Metropolitan Magistrate Mizanur Rahman conducted the hearing at 11:30am but he kept the order CAV (Curia advisari vult).

Earlier, the authorities of the hospital filed case against at least 25 people including ABM Masud Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, Ishahaq Hossain Babu, Assistant Personal Secretary (APS) of Begum Munnujan Sufian, Farhana Nasrinn, daughter of Sirajul and one Abir Hossain.

Manik Mollah, senior security supervisor of BIRDEM, filed the case against them for their alleged involvement in instigating the assault on doctors the following the death of a patient at the hospital.

Doctors observed an hour token work abstention from 11:00am demanding the trial of the attack and vandalism incidents. They also observed one hour work abstention on Saturday.
