Indian woman held with 5 gold bars

BENAPOLE, JESSORE: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members detained an Indian woman with five gold bars on Ghiba border of Benapole of the district on Thursday during smuggling attempts.

The Indian national--Putul, 30--was nabbed at 10:00am.

BGB Jessore Battalion Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Motiur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
