SAVAR (DHAKA): At least 20 people were injured as a bus plunged into a roadside ditch at Rajphulbaria bus stand area at Savar, outskirt of capital Dhaka early Friday.

Witnesses said that a Dhaka-bound bus plunged into a roadside ditch as its driver lost control over the steering while overtaking another bus in the area, leaving at least 20 people injured including some pedestrians and locals.

Police seized the bus in this connection and the injured were rushed to local clinics.

Sub-Inspector of Savar Model Thana Kabir Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
