DHAKA: A 7-member delegation of the German Parliamentary Committee on Economic Cooperation and Development will visit Bangladesh on Saturday.
They will assess the situation in the RMG Sector and get information about the initiatives taken so far in this sector to improve the health and safety standards.
The German Embassy in Dhaka came up with the disclosure in a press release on Friday.
During the five-day visit, the delegation is scheduled to call on the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the Parliament, the Minister for Commerce and other political leaders.
The Parliamentarians will also visit projects funded under German Development Cooperation in Dhaka and Savar.
As part of the program, the delegation will brief the journalists on the outcome of their visit at a press conference at capital’s Gulshan on Tuesday.
