Man electrocuted in city

DHAKA: A man was electrocuted in Dokkhin Dania area of the city on Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified as Rasel, son of Yunus Ali, hailed from east Jurain in city.

Family sources said that the victim was electrocuted when an electric short circuit took place in a table fan around 9:00am, leaving him critically injured.

Later, he was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctor declared him dead around 10:00am.
