DHAKA: Local administration confiscated assets of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s killer Lt Col MA Rashed Chowdhury in Hajiganj of Chandpur. 

Hajiganj UNO Hosne Afroza, ASP Abu Hanif were present during the confiscation Sunday.

Officer-in-Charge of Hajiganj Thana Shah Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews over phone.

On April 3, Special Police Super of Dhaka Metropolitan South Abdul Kahhar sent an order to Chandpur Police Super asking to seize assets of Rashed.

The order was followed by the decision of the taskforce for convicted fugitive killers. Allude to Rashed Chowdhury is one of the 12 convicted of the assassination, is now staying at USA.
