DHAKA: Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) has given approval to three new projects and one revised project involving Tk 2590 crore.

The approval came from the regular meeting of the country’s apex economic committee at Agargaon of the city with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

The government will bear Tk 636.38 crore, Tk 1746 crore will be found as project help and Tk 207 crore will be financed by the concerned departments.

Finance Minister AMA Muhith, Posts and Telecommunications and Information & Communication Technology Minister Abdul Latif Siddique, Agricultural Minister Motia Chowdhury, Water Resources Minister Anisul Islam and Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan were among others present in the meeting.
