BANDARBAN: At least 15 houses were gutted in a devastating fire in Uzani para area under Sadar upazila of the district on Friday morning.
Locals said that the fire originated from a cooker of a furniture shop around 4:00am.
Later on information fire fighting units rushed to the spot and doused the fire after three hour efforts.
Confirming the matter Bandarban Municipal Ward no.4 Councilor Dilip Kumar Barua told banglanews, “The fire damaged assets worth about Tk35 lakhs.”
