NARAYANGANJ: A business man has been abducted from Sanarpar under Siddhirganjganj upazila on Thursday night when people there are mourning deaths of seven abducted people in the district.

Wife of abducted trader Saiful Islam filed a case on Friday morning mentioning that the abductors have claimed Tk 20 lakh ransom.

After hearing the news, locals and traders started protest in the area. 

Officer-in-Charge of Siddhirganj Thana Abdul Matin said: “Police is looking into the matter.”

Recently seven people were abducted in the district and they were found dead in River Shitalokkhya.
