N’ganj councilor’s house raided

NARAYANGANJ: Police conducted a raid at the house of another councilor of Narayanganj Nur Hossain, key suspect in sensational killings of ward councilor Nazrul Islam and six others.

Witnesses said that police started the raid at 11:00am Saturday and it was underway till the report was filing.

Journalists are not allowed to enter the house during the raid.

ASP of N’ganj district police Shahidul Islam confirmed the matter.

Narayanganj City Corporation Councilor Nazrul Islam, senior lawyer Chandan Kumar Sarkar and four others were found dead floating on River Shitalkkhya after 3-day of abduction.
