BANDARBAN: A man was killed in an attack of bear in Nachalongpara area under Rowangchhari Upazila of the district on Monday morning.

The deceased was identified as Mong Ching U Marma, 32.

Local sources said that the victim with some others went to forest for hunting around 5:00am. Then seeing a bear, he shot it.

After a while, the injured bear attacked the man, leaving him dead on the spot and injured two others.

Noapatong Union Chairman Sa Nu Pru Marma confirmed the matter to banglanews.
