THAKURGAON: Border Security Force (BSF) of India abducted a cattle trader in Kantivita frontier area under Baliadangi upazila of the district on Monday morning.

The victim was identified as Saddam Hossain, 26, son of Jakir Hossain, hailed from Dakkhin Paria village of the upazila.

Regarding the incident, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB)-30 Intelligence Officer Major Tawhid told banglanews: “A letter was sent to BSF asking them to hold a flag meeting to get the victim back.”
