BRAHMANBARIA: An auto rickshaw driver was killed and five others injured in a road accident on Brahmanbaria-Comilla highway in Bhadugor area of the district on Tuesday morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Sources said that a stone-laden truck rammed two CNG run auto rickshaws in the area around 10:30am, leaving the auto rickshaw driver dead on the spot and five others injured. 

The injured were sent to District Sadar Hospital and critically injured two were shifted to Dhaka medical Hospital.

Traffic Sergeant Saydul Haque confirmed the matter to banglanews.
