NARAYANGANJ: Police detained three persons including a woman on Thursday from Narsingdi for their alleged involvement in sensation Narayanganj 7-killing.

The detainees are- Mintu, Masuma and Tipu.

District Police Super Khandakar Mohid Uddin made the disclosure in a press briefing at his office.

He said, details about the detainees could not be informed due to investigation purpose.

Earlier, police detained 16 people in the same connection and taken to remand for quizzing.

On April 30, Narayanganj City Corporation Councilor Nazrul Islam, senior lawyer Chandan Kumar Sarkar and five others were found dead floating on River Shitalkkhya after 3-day of abduction.
