City high-rise catches fire

DHAKA: A fire broke out at BS building on New Elephant Road in the city on Thursday noon.

On information, six fire fighting units rushed to the spot and are working to douse the fire.

Fire service control-room duty officer Shahzadi Sultana told banglanews that the fire originated at the fourth floor of the building at 1:45pm.

She hoped that the fire would come under control soon.
