BAGERHAT: The chief of Farid Bahini with his two cohorts surrendered to Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-8 in Mrigamari canal area of the district on Thursday morning.

The detainees are- Yusuf Bahini chief Yusuf, son of Yusuf Lahari, Jewel and Asad.

Meanwhile, the dacoits submitted a 303 rifle, two .22 bore rifles, three single barrel guns and 33-round bullets.

Sources said that the detainees surrendered around 9:00am and they were taken to RAB-6 office in Khulna. 

RAB-8 Commander Captain Gulzar Ahmed confirmed the matter to banglanews.
