ASHULIA, DHAKA: Two workers died and another fell sick after inhaling toxic gas while cleaning a septic tank in Narshingpur area of Ashulia industrial zone, on outskirts of capital Dhaka, on Sunday.

Details of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Witnesses said three workers went inside a septic tank near Khan Manson, located near the Gate No. 3 of the garment factories of Ha-meem Group in the area, and fell sick there due to toxic inhalation.

At that time, one of them managed to get out while other two died inside the tank.

Fire Service men are working to recover the bodies.

Ashulia Thana Sub-Inspector Ruhul Amin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
