Lightning kills mom, son in Sunamganj

SUNAMGANJ: A woman and her 2-year-old son were killed as lightning struck them in Amrabandh village under Bishamvarpur upazila of the district on Monday morning.

The deceased were identified as Parvin Begum, 25, wife of Anwar Hossain and their son Arman.

Locals said that lightning struck them when they were sitting near their yard.

Local UP chairman Mahjebin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
