DHAKA: The home affairs ministry has prepared a list of organizations regulated by Jamaat-e-Islami to stop financing to the extremists.

A special meeting was held in the ministry on Monday afternoon to take actions against those organizations.

Sources said decisions about steps would be taken from the meeting.

With State Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal in the chair, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Hasan Mahmud Khandaker and additional secretary of the ministry Dr Kamaluddin Ahmed were among others present at the meeting.
