FENI: Two children were killed as a container train coming from Sylhet hit them in Nazir Mor area at the town on Monday afternoon.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Sources said the container train hit them in the area, leaving one child dead on spot and another one injured critically.

The fatally injured child rushed to at Feni Sadar Hospital where it died later.

Feni Government Railway Police (GRP) Sub-Inspector (SI) Mezbaul Alam confirmed the matter.
